(MI) Treasury Analyst

SUMMARY:

A highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to support our Treasury Management operations. This role is critical in enhancing client relationships, streamlining treasury operations, and driving the adoption of digital banking products. You will partner closely with Treasury Management Officers, Branch Sales Professionals, and internal stakeholders to support pre-sales activities, client onboarding, service delivery, and ongoing client relationship management.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Support & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary sales and service support
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding and implementation of treasury services and deposit
  • Deliver client training and resolve inquiries related to treasury products and digital banking tools.
  • Support branch teams and the customer service center on treasury-related issues and digital banking needs.

Sales & Pre-Sales Support

  • Assist with presentation preparation, client research, and proposal
  • Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and coordinate internal documentation (e.g., AML, implementation forms).
  • Track and monitor progress of implementations and ensure clients are billed accurately upon completion.

Operational & Project Support

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support development of best practices in treasury services.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating new product rollouts and system
  • Maintain and update internal procedures and client-facing

Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Generate reports on system usage, client adoption, and service
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve products and client

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and industry
  • Stay current on industry trends, security risks, and regulatory changes in Treasury

Digital Banking Systems Oversight

  • Partner with IT and vendors to manage and optimize platforms including:
    • Online banking
    • Mobile banking
    • Remote deposit capture
    • Fraud prevention tools
    • ACH processing and account analysis systems

All other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, or related area
  • Experience in digital banking platforms, sales support, and client implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written
  • Client-focused with proven ability to build
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with CRM and financial platforms a plus.

 

WORKING ENVIORNMENT:

  • Daily interaction with external and internal customers
  • Daily interface with Accounting, Bank Operations, Loan Operations and other business units
  • Office environment with workstation area (desk/counter), desktop computer and chair
  • Job duties involve sitting, standing and/or walking within work area, telephone etiquette
  • Unaided lifting of up to 20 pounds may be necessary
  • Adequate lighting, ventilation, heating and cooling are supplied
