(MI) Loan Administrator

LOCATION: 7310 Woodward Ave., Detroit


Primary duty is documenting all commercial loans and processing paid off loans.  Must be reliable, organized and capable of multi-tasking on a daily basis.  Must be able to communicate well with Staff and Customers.


  • HMDA
    • Prepare and supply information on HMDA reportable loans processed to management
  • Ordering – as needed
    • Orders all Flood Certificates, UCC’s and COGS, Title Work, etc.
  • Documentation of Commercial Loans
    • Complete documentation checklist by reviewing commercial loan file
    • Organize credit file
    • Identify and clear compliance issues
    • Types all commercial loan documentation – New, Renewals, Extensions, Letters of Credit, etc. on LaserPro
    • Receive and review loan package after closing for completeness and facilitate correction of deficiencies
  • Pay off Letters
    • Receive requests for payoffs
    • Review Note and prepare payoff letters accordingly
    • Maintain file
  • Recordation of Collateral Instruments
    • Identify necessity and type of instrument to secure collateral
    • Prepare instrument and forward to County or State for recording FIB collateral
  • Paid Off Loans (Closed / Retention)
    • Print Paid Note Audit report, identify and processes all paid off loans
    • Prepares Paid Note Audit Collateral Release Forms
    • Prepare and processes all necessary discharges of liens and ticklers
    • Prepare and process retention boxes for storage
  • Liaison
    • Act as liaison for deals requiring services from title companies, attorneys, borrower(s)/guarantor(s) and lender
  • Notary Public
    • Act as Notary Public for department
  • Customer Service / Research
    • Handle phone calls and emails received


  • Commercial loan documentation and laser-pro background preferred
