Bill Payment Services

**IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE BILL PAYMENT SERVICES**

Dear Bill Pay Customer,

As we reflect on our last fifty years and look forward to the next fifty years, First Independence Bank has embarked on some changes that will allow us to better serve the needs of our customers and our community.  On Friday, April 23, 2021, First Independence Bank will be undergoing a conversion of the current banking system.  As part of the conversion, the online banking and bill payment systems are being updated. These updates will provide you with more functionality and features.  Unfortunately, we will be unable to convert the payees which you have set up in the current bill pay system.  April 19th will be the last day you can pay a bill using the current bill pay system.  On April 26th you will be able to login to the new online banking portal with your current IDs and enroll in the new bill pay product.  Please review any recurring payments you may have setup to ensure that they are not set to go April 20th or later as these will not be paid.  You will need to manually pay these or wait and pay them out of the new system.  In preparation for the conversion, we are recommending that you record a list of your current billers, as well as export your payment history for your records.  The instructions for completing both steps are included below:

Make a record of your Billers

  • Login to online banking
  • Click on the Bill Payment tab
  • From the payment center tab make a list of all your billers so you know who to setup in the new system

Download your Prior Activity

  • Login to online banking
  • Click on the Bill Payment tab
  • Click on the Activity tab
  • Select a payment range and hit enter
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Download Payment List
  • Your payments will download into a .CSV format that can be opened in excel
  • You can also tell if a payment is recurring or not. If recurring, you need to make sure it is not due after 4/19/2021 because it won’t get processed automatically
  • You can also the Learning Center before 4/26/2021 to watch a video that explains this process

We appreciate your patience during this conversion and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
