(MI) Facilities/Purchasing Assistant

SUMMARY: Assist Facilities Manager with all aspects of job. Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all bank properties. Assists with coordinating the purchase and inventory of supplies, equipment, and marketing materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in maintaining all aspects of the buildings and grounds owned and operated by FIB
  • Maintain appropriate levels of forms and supplies
  • Request bids for goods and services used by the bank to ensure costs are competitive
  • Assist with oversight of the supply and purchase of print and marketing materials, office supplies and office equipment
  • Assist with special projects pertaining to moving people and offices and equipment
  • Assist with maintenance of company vehicles
  • Purchase and maintain cell and wireless equipment
  • Act as back-up for alarm system
  • Act as back-up for courier (handle incoming/outgoing mail, complete daily route to MI bank offices) and security guards

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ownership of a valid state-issued driver’s license
  • Ability to travel between multiple FIB sites
  • Current motor vehicle record
  • Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to travel to other FIB offices outside of Michigan
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Prior facilities coordination experience a plus
